Occupy! A Public Library Archive

Next to the Occupy London campsite at St Paul's, stands the pillars of Juxon House. Protestors and various other social groups used these looming pillars as public notice boards which attracted many passersby who stopped to read the various posters depicting everything from political cartoons to web site links for further reading. This "pop up" public library was removed by the police shortly before Christmas 2011.

Contained on these USB sticks are the images of every square inch the Juxon house pillars that were covered with posters. Each USB stick refers to a specific pillar and the walls nearest to it.

They are read only.

This archive has been donated to the British Library's social policy department.
