The Soyuz Chair
Living-room physics in collaboration with the astronaut Jean Pierre Haignere who went in the Soyuz rocket twice.
TV on, an astronaut, an interview, a launch, a chair. You, in the living room. Space tourism is a great success. The possibility to experiment with weightlessness, to feel the thrill of liftoff and finally to meet the unknown isn’t fantasy anymore, but the access is still very restricted.
With the Soyuz chair you can recline, face towards the ceiling and experience the cockpit. It comes with a remote control for you to select either 10 minutes lift off of the Soyuz Rocket with 3 stages of intensity, or just the last 240 seconds (the most extreme stage).
5...4...3...2...1...., Which planet will you land on?
