Occupy! A Public Library Archive
Next to the Occupy London campsite at St Paul's, stands the pillars of Juxon House. These pillars became covered in poster and flyers and acted as a public notice board.
This "pop up" public library was removed by the police shortly before Christmas 2011.
Contained on our USB sticks are the images of every square inch of the Juxon house pillars and links to every website found on the posters. Each USB stick's data is specific to a single pillar and the walls nearest to it. They are read only.
This archive has been donated to the British Library's social policy department.
OCCUPY! WIFI
We are currently developing a portable network device with a coverage range of 100 metres. This adhoc wi-fi network will allow users to view all of the content from the pillars on their laptop or mobile device while they are within range of the device.
A collaboration with Philipp Ronnenberg.
