Into Orbit
An aspiring astronaut attempts to simulate an experience of outer Space in an urban playground. From a running start, the park carousel is transformed into a centrifuge as its heavy rotation gathers pace.
Moving from outside to inside the astronaut’s orbit and back again, the images split into two contrasting perspectives of a simple action that becomes increasingly evocative of somewhere far away from its humble origins.
