Second Year
I graduated from BA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art in 2008.
Connecting much of my work to date is a reach for the imaginary beyond the pragmatic. The limits of the possible and the scope for human ambition and aspiration are recurring themes, often based in the dual subjects of flight and space exploration. After enrolling in Design Interactions, my practice has evolved from playing with the exceptional potential of physical objects into a more critical investigation into the human relationship with technology. "Man in Space" has continued to be a focal subject for my work on the course, and also forms the basis for my thesis project. Filmmaking and photography are currently my primary modes of making my ideas tangiable.
