The Make-up Machine was conceived as a theatrical device rather than one of practicality. It draws from the heritage of drama & slap-stick comedy to explore the possible role of ritual in a mechanized society.

 

The machine replicates three stages of make-up application. 1- foundation, 2 - blusher, 3 - lipstick.
